How to backup your favorites, history and alerts

If you plan to reset your phone to factory settings or to reinstall Magic Earth, we recommend you to first backup your Magic Earth data.

Here is how you can save your favorites, history, and alerts for later use:

iOS

1. Connect your device to Internet
2. Go to Settings > General, and tap Cloud Backup.

Android

1. Use the file manager on your device and go to
internal_storage/android/data/com.generalmagic.magicearth/files/Download/MAGICEARTH/Data/Landmarks.
2. In Landmarks folder you can see the *.xlm files for your Favorites, History and Alerts. Just copy the desired files on your computer.
