While navigating with Magic Earth, you can receive Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) notifications to increase your safety on the road.

Note: To receive ADAS warnings, Magic Earth must have permission to use the phone’s camera. This is used by the Advanced Driver Assistance feature to capture the road ahead and alert you about potential driving problems. Go to your phone’s Settings > Magic Earth, then turn on Camera.

Enable ADAS warnings in Magic Earth

• Go to Settings > AI Dash Cam
• Turn on Driver Assistance

IMPORTANT:
During navigation, the camera of the phone must have a clear view of the road ahead. The device must be mounted on the windshield of the car or on the dashboard, in landscape mode.

Also, the phone must not be kept in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, as this might cause overheating and unwanted changes in the app’s behaviour. To protect your phone, when the interior temperature of the device exceeds the normal operating range, the ADAS and Recording features will turn off and a thermometer icon will be displayed on the guidance bar, near the navigation instruction.
